COMMUNITY EFFORTS

July 8, 2015 a benefit was held in support of Our Lady of Hope Clinic at the Badger Bowl raising over $4,000. Sponsored by Kurt Welton and Welton business partners (listed below), the benefit included a free concert featuring W.C. Clark, free bowling and raffle drawings for items donated by Welton business partners (listed below). Our Lady of Hope Clinic is a free primary medical care clinic for uninsured men, women and children that offers walk-in appointment times for recipients four days a week; effectively eliminating the need for those without insurance to wait weeks, or longer, to see a doctor.

SUMMARY FROM OUR STAFF

Unfortunately I cannot open this paragraph with a note about the Packers’ upcoming appearance in the Super Bowl; however, as the best franchise in all of professional sports I’m sure we will be on the Super Bowl path again next year!  Aside from the disappointing Packers loss we have a lot to be grateful for at Welton.  While 2014 marked the best year in the company’s history by deal volume, 2015 marked the highest portfolio wide occupancy percentage we have achieved in over 15 years by ending the year with over 97% of our spaces occupied.  Not only have we achieved a high occupancy, we have seen more confidence in the market over the last 12-24 months than we have seen since prior to the recession.  This confidence is marked by longer lease term commitments, capital investments in expansion, etc. This further adds stability to the Welton portfolio.

2016 is looking like another great year and we are excited to see what new milestone(s) we can achieve as a company.  We have several new developments in the planning stages, are continuing to realize our strategic company goals and continue to look for ways to give back to the community through various charitable organizations.  None of this would be possible without the two main factors to our company’s success: our fantastic team and our roster of incredible tenants.  We have worked diligently over the last few years to get us to this point and it was truly a team effort that would not have happened without the significant contributions made by each team member.  Additionally, we feel that we have one of the best, if not the best, tenant rosters in the marketplace.  We owe a lot of our success to the success of our tenants and we would not be where we are today without such great business partners!

We hope everyone has a very prosperous 2016!

All the Best,

Paul Molinaro
